Key selection criteria for the winners of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg's "100 Companies for Resource Efficiency" project were energy-efficient production processes and new materials. The award-winning, role-model enterprises include the Waldbrunn-based family company Mosca GmbH. The manufacturer of strapping machines and straps impressed the panel of leading trade association representatives in Baden-Württemberg with a new pallet strapping machine that uses less strapping material and consumes around 20% less energy.
CEO Timo Mosca and Chief Technical Officer Jürgen Beisel accepted the award from environment minister Franz Untersteller at the Baden-Württemberg Resource Efficiency and Recycling Economy Congress in Karlsruhe. "Sustainability is an integral part of our company philosophy," explains Mosca GmbH CEO Timo Mosca.
"As a technology leader for strapping solutions, our focus is on continuously optimizing our production processes and saving resources. We also feel deeply connected to the local region and state. So it's especially pleasing to see our efforts recognized with an award from the federal state of Baden-Württemberg."
