Data Translation has released the new DT9857 series to expand their range of USB data acquisition modules for vibration and acoustic measurements. The modules provide eight or 16 analog inputs with 24-bit resolution and up to 105 kHz sampling rate per channel for connecting IEPE/ICP accelerometers or measurement microphones directly. Key features also include two 32-bit analog outputs, digital I/O, tachometer input and counters, supporting a wide variety of applications. Using the sync port, up to four modules can be easily synchronized to implement a high-performance, high-accuracy measurement system with up to 64 channels. The DT9857 comes with a comprehensive software package including 32/64-bit drivers for Windows and a wide range of software interfaces, directly supporting LabVIEW, MATLAB, .NET and others. The package additionally comprises the base version of Data Translation's QuickDAQ measurement software, which can be expanded by purchasing the FFT and modal analysis options.
