Hitachi’s TX17D01 VM2CAA high performance 6.5" VGA TFT display features an active matrix, transmissive TFT LCD display with a resolution of 640x480 pixels (VGA). A low power white LED backlight is used to provide a high brightness of 600cd/ m². The lifetime of the LED backlight is specified as 70,000 hours. It delivers exceptional optical performance in many operating conditions and environments whilst the LED backlight delivers reduced power consumption, ease of control and long lifetime. The display module has dimensions of 153.0x118.0x9.0mm (wxhxd) and an industry standard 18-bit RGB CMOS interface providing support for up to 262K colours. These two key features enable it to offer mechanical and electrical compatibility with other industry standard 6.5” VGA display modules. The display also supports a wide operating temperature range of -20 to 70°C.
