8-Way Switch/Converter

The QuickSwitch Model 4193 from Electro Standards Laboratories, is an 8-way switch/converter which allows access to any one of eight separate fiber optic networks by simply pushing a button on the front panel of the unit. The simple pushbutton switching eliminates plugging and unplugging fiber optic patch cords, thus minimizing connector wear and increasing system reliability. This network switch also insures isolation between networks/devices with its internal circuitry and acts as a signal source with no optical signal loss. The Common port converts the selected fiber optic network port to the 100BaseTX interface.
