The C2000 Series is a general-purpose inverter designed for a wide variety of power control applications, including construction and overhead cranes, printing and packaging equipment, textile machinery, compressors, and more.
The C2000 Series offers easy maintenance with its modular design, featuring multiple options for extended I/O modules, encoder feedback and communication accessories, hot pluggable keypad replacement, removable fans, and power indicators to assure operator safety. With both closed-loop PID and sensorless modes, the C2000 Series is efficient for permanent magnet (PM) and asynchronous (IM) motor control, and assures precise speed, torque, and positioning across a broad range of operating conditions.
Functions & Specifications
With an impressive power range of 0.75-90kW at 230V, or 0.75-450kW at 460V, the C2000 Series is flexible for various applications. It boasts several important safety features, including a built-in breaking unit (up to 30kW on 460V models) and certified "safe stop" functionality (STO SIL2). The MODBUS communication interface supports high-speed communication, and the CANopen (DS402) master function is able to control up to 8 slave drives simultaneously.
There are also several optional cards available for PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet, MODBUS TCP and EtherNet/IP communications. In accordance with Delta's global support of green, energy-efficient power products, the C2000 Series is ROHS, CE, UL, and C-Tick certified. It is also environmentally adaptable, with low EMC emission levels (C3,C2 or C1 of the EN 61800-3 standard), an onboard EMI filter to reduce electrical noise, and a DC choke tosuppress harmonics.
The C2000 Series uses Class 3C2 conformal coating to ensure safety and stabilityeven in critical environments, and the drive can be installed in flange-mount of wall-mount to provide optimal heat dissipation. The system is also capable of self-diagnosis, making it simple to operate yet efficient across a wide operating range. While in FOC+PG mode, this high-level field oriented AC motor drive features output up to 150% of starting torque at zero speeds. The system also dynamically calculates the required torque level according to load variation to reduce output fluctuation. This makes it an ideal solution for precise positioning and speed control across a wide range of operating parameters.
It also reduces energy consumption when operating under energy-saving mode for variable speed applications such as air or fluid applications. Rated to ambient temperatures between -10°C to 50°C, the C2000 Series has a rugged IP54 cabinet designed to prevent contamination by dust, dirt, and liquids in harsh environments.
