Camille Bauer has extended its product portfolio in angular position instrumentation by the new KINAX HW730 absolute hollow shaft angular position transmitter. Its robust design for outdoor use is captivating and particularly suited to applications in rough environments. The stable aluminium housing and the compact sealing system permits its use in IP67 and IP69k ingress protection, a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C as well as an annual average of £ 95% in relative humidity. The electronics are based on a tried and tested capacitive measuring principle thus allowing an analogue output of 4...20mA in 2-wire technology with very low internal consumption. The required measuring range (span) and the direction of rotation are very easily programmed on site via a key and a switch. This reduces planning and installation time, storage costs and delivery periods.
