Available off the shelf in a range of speeds, the EBM Papst i-maxx ACi 4400 with GreenTech EC technology achieves an air flow of 180 m³/h and a maximum pressure of 74.7 Pa with operating noise of 42 dB(A) and a power consumption of 4.4 W (65% efficiency of drive motor). Service life is more than 62,500 hours (at 40 °C). Strands or flat plugs that can be configured as necessary and a weight of 250 g makes it suitable for a variety of applications. Approvals in accordance with VDE 0850, UL, CSA and CCC standards have been obtained. The operating temperature of the fan ranges from -20 to +75 °C. The input voltage of the 230 V (50/60 Hz) version is 195 - 265 V, while the 115 V (50/60 Hz) version operates between 85 and 132 V.
The i-maxx W1G130 with GreenTech EC motor requires up to 60% lower input capacity than its AC predecessor. For the consumer, this means that a conversion will pay for itself within no more than a year. It is based on the tried and tested ESM motor technology with 2 speed stages, which can be switched according to demand. This enables further energy savings to be made, increasing the overall efficiency of the application even further. The two programmed speed stages have been selected to cover the air performance of the two earlier AC predecessors, representing a further benefit for the customer. With IP54 protection rating and permissible ambient temperature up to +70 °C, it is also highly suitable for industrial applications. Wall ring and impeller are made of resilient, fiberglass-reinforced plastic, making additional corrosion protection unnecessary.
The axial fans are mechanically fully compatible with their AC predecessors, which makes it just as easy to perform a conversion as it is to incorporate them into a new installation.
