In September 2009, Bachmann electronic opened its second office in China. In Beijing, China’s second-largest industrial centre with 12 million residents, three employees ensure optimal support for local customers. Beijing is not only China’s political centre, but also “five of the ten largest developers or manufacturers of wind power systems are headquartered here,” says Reiner Waffenschmidt, head of Bachmann’s Chinese subsidiary, explaining the reason for the company's presence in the China’s capital as well as in Shanghai.
