Backwards-compatible processor

Portwell, Inc., launched the ROBO-8779VG2AR, an Intel® Core^TM 2 Quad/Core^TM 2 Duo/ Celeron® processor-based PICMG 1.0 SBC. It offers a flexible FSB selection of 1333/1066/800 MHz, up to 4GB DDR3 SDRAM on two 240-pin DIMM sockets, support for Intel® G41 Express Chipset integrated with Intel’s GMA X4500 graphic engine, dual display VGA and DVI-D interface, dual Gigabit Ethernet based on PCI-E x1, 1 Compact Flash socket via IDE, high bandwidth I/O and other rich I/O connections such as serial ports, parallel port, USB 2.0 and SATA ports.
