MISUMI Europa supplies a great variety of ball screws for converting rotational motion into linear motion and vice-versa. They consist of a threaded spindle, a ball screw nut, with integrated balls, and a ball recirculation mechanism, and are available in application-specific variants. The components, which are used as drive and feed units, are characterized by low-friction and precise motion. Ball screws only require a low drive torque. The low-wear rolling friction of the spherical rolling elements results in a long service life, low self-heating and low lubrication requirements. Low static and dynamic friction coefficients rule out the stick-slip effect.
