Faulhaber's 22mm four pole brushless DC servomotor is the world's smallest drive with an integrated single axis motion controller. This series 2232 / 2250…BX4 CSD/CCD is ideal for applications such as robotics, automation, medical and laboratory technology, specialty machinery and aerospace. It offers high reliability, high torque, a compact slotless design with no cogging torque and a robust construction without the use of adhesives. The drives are available with a RS-232 serial or CAN interface. They operate within a temperature range from -25°C to 85°C and provide a continuous current of up to 0,69 A with a peak of up to 3A. Their speed can be precisely controlled from down to 5 rpm and up to 8000 rpm. The motor and electronics are protected by the factory preset current limits.
