For Binder's shieldable stainless steel connectors 713 series, the cable seal has been changed to Viton, and the pinch ring is made of Teflon. These highly resistant materials are suitable for use in the food- and chemical industries, and in the field of process automation – they are practically resistant against all aggressive substances. With the plastic components previously used in stainless steel connectors, this was not possible. The connectors are available with A-coding in 4, 5 and 8 poles. Two cable entry sizes are provided, for 3-5.5 mm and 5.5-8.6 mm. Every packing unit contains two sealing sets to cover the upper and lower cable entry. When mated and locked with mating half or protective cap IP69K is given.
