CAN in Automation (CiA) GmbH has scheduled a CANopen seminar series in the EU for 2009. The one-day seminars provide an overview about the CANopen higher-layer protocol. The English-spoken seminars will take place in Nuremberg (September 22nd), Tampere (September 29th), Katowice (October 8th), Amsterdam (October 21st), Brussels (October 22nd), Zurich (November 10th), Prague (November 12th) and Stockholm (November 19th). The information provided in the Seminar will enable development engineers and system integrators to judge if CANopen is suitable for their application. Attendees will receive a comprehensive insight into the technical opportunities of CANopen. Attendees should be familiar with the basics of the CAN protocol, therefore CiA has scheduled a halfday CAN seminar in Nuremberg (September 21st). Further information and online registration is available at www.cancia. org or via e-mail to headquarters@cancia. org.
