CIRCOR International, Inc, has announced the opening of a new manufacturing facility in China. The manufacturer and marketer already supplies differentiated technology products and sub-system to various industrial markets such as oil & gas, aerospace and defense and commercial marine.
In its fourth decade, the global brand plans to implement a strategy focused on organic growth achieved through complementary brand and talent acquisitions. In this regard, the opening of a Chinese facility marks an important step towards the fulfillment of this objective.
Expanding in Asia
CIRCOR is already present in Asia: it has three facilities in India, one in the UAE, one in Malaysia, one in Singapore and one in Hong Kong.
The new manufacturing facility, scheduled to open in 2020, is located in the city of Weihai, in the Shandong province, further cementing the CIRCOR’s international position with a physical location in China. CIRCOR Weihai currently produces centrifugal and three-screw positive displacement pumps designed for use in industrial and commercial marine markets.
Thanks to this expansion, CIRCOR will be able to provide better customer support to its clients in Asia while still offering a wide portfolio of flow control technologies.
