Mersen has launched new circuit protection devices that fit the 1000 V DC and 1500 V DC photovoltaic electrical installations. Among them, HelioProtection range is suitable for markets where power levels exceed 100 kWc, and includes fuses and fuse holders made up of more than 3 strings, but also lightning arresters and cut-off switches for 1000 V DC and 1500 V DC systems (HP15NH 1500 V DC 3L fuses).

Additionally, Mersen releases new 1XL and 2XL fuses, ranging from 50 to 250 A, suitable for low-power installations. They feature a 20% reduction in heat-related energy loss. These limited dissipation fuses are installed on busbars or in a fuse holder that exists in 2 types: one with an open base and the other protected against inadvertent contact. The entire range is compliant with IEC and UL standards. Last, Mersen offers HelioProtection fuse holder with rotary gripper, made for cylindrical fuses from 1 to 32 A, and a new 1500 V DC type 1 and type 2 lighting arrester, engineered to eliminate the need for a protective fuse upline of the installation.
