CILS have developed the 8100GHS range of thermal transfer and laser computer printable self-adhesive colour labels to help meet the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of classification and labelling of chemical drums and containers. GHS requires that by the end of 2014 manufacturers and end users include specific information on all primary and secondary container labels, including product identifiers, signal words, colour pictograms, hazard statements and supplier identification. To assist industry manufacturers and end users, the company developed the durable self-adhesive label range which feature a unique 'pre-printed' solvent resistant coating allowing users to add variable data 'In-house' and 'on-demand'. It is suited for a wide range of industrial applications including metal or plastic drums, containers and other difficult to bond surfaces.
