The Crydom DRMS Series hybrid motor starters expand Sensata’s product line for motion control applications. Suitable for robotic, industrial, manufacturing and material handling systems, these hybrid starters benefit from both solid state and electromechanical relay technologies to create a compact device capable of controlling electrical power delivery to motors as large as 4kW. Moreover, they offer features such as soft start, soft stop (for the gradual increase or decrease of power control) and an internal main disconnect relay in case of a fault.

Extending motor life, theses slim (22.5mm) motor starters also save extra costs and space thanks to a built-in overload protection. Forward/reverse, adjustable settings for starting/deceleration torque, starting/deceleration ramp, nominal motor current and a reset button on the front of the unit (for external manual reset) are other available characteristics.
