Available with an IEC 61131-3 compliant integrated motion logic, the IndraDrive Cs ADVANCED compact drive series from Bosch Rexroth controls up to nine additional axes via a sercos master interface. Multi-Ethernet or an additional fieldbus interface simplifies integration to various automation designs. The multi-Ethernet protocol is user configured, as desired, by software. A wide range of standard encoder types is supported by the multi-encoder interface. The drive also supports different linear motor versions by using electronic commutation and/or analog and digital Hall sensors. Using and additional fieldbus interface, it can, along with its connected slave drives, be integrated into nearly any control environment as an intelligent subsystem. Offered for open and closed loop operations and for direct network connection, the drives are available in two versions. The 100-230VAC converters connect with 50-750W continuous power motors and can also be operated as single phase drives without significant power loss. The 200-500VAC drives cover 0.4-9kW continuous power range. An integrated gateway fives the fieldbus master access to the slave drives. Featuring safe torque off (STO) and safe brake control (SBC) the compact drives achieve Kat 4 PL e according to EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL 3 according to EN 6261. Saving the firmware and parameters in the intelligent control panel enables the transmission of all drive-specific data by simply exchanging the control panel. That feature allows a fast, PC-less device exchange and comfortable series commissioning. Enhanced capabilities, especially when combined with IndraMotion MLD applications, are possible with the optional use of a µSD card for additional memory. An integrated web server, the IndraMotion Service Tool, offers access to all drive diagnoses and parameters via a standard web browser.
