The emPC-X1600 fanless controller system from Janz comes in a compact enclosure with a 10 x 10 cm base area. Developed for automation applications which need space-saving solutions, it is one of the smallest available computer systems in its processor-power-class. The system uses the Intel Z530 1.6GHz Atom processor, has 512 MB memory and uses Windows XP or Linux as its operation system. The CoDeSys IEC-61131 programming environment can be pre-installed emPC-X1600. The platform can also be used in an emVIEW HMI family.
