Through its Microfused line, TE released the M3200 pressure transducer, a compact and customizable device that suits measurement of liquid or gas pressure, even in tough environments such as contaminated water, steam, or mildly corrosive fluids. The standard version includes a ¼ NPT pipe thread enabling a leak-proof, full metal sealed system. Its pressure cavity is made from a solid piece of 17-4PH stainless steel. No O-rings, welds or organics are exposed to the pressure medias

The M3200 pressure transducer uses Microfused technology, that is derived from aerospace applications. It consists of micromachined silicon piezoresistive strain gages fused with high temperature glass to a stainless-steel diaphragm. This helps media compatibility to be achieved while providing a stable sensor without any PN junctions.
