High-performance computing systems are required for CPU-intensive tasks such as transcoding and data analysis. Upscaling usually requires considerably more space and installation effort. But this does not have to be the case, as ICP Deutschland shows with the space-saving, scalable and intelligent computer acceleration card Mustang-200.
Relieve the system from complex tasks
The compact dimensions in a handy graphics card format with standardized PCIe x4 connector make it possible to install highly scalable systems. The PCIe x4, x8 and x16 compatibility of the Mustang-200 also facilitates retrofitting of existing systems. Complex tasks can be assigned to individual cards and executed separately. This relieves the overall system on the one hand, and on the other hand the additional computing power also enables batch, parallel or serial data processing. The integrated embedded Linux operating system QTS-Lite gives the Mustang-200 its intelligence. Using the development toolkit consisting of API and SDK, you can develop your own applications that can be run and remotely controlled directly on the Mustang-200. Alternatively, predefined apps are available for download in the App Center.
Their computing power results from two Kaby Lake Intel® CoreTM i7 or i5 processors with 16GB DDR4 memory each. The required mass storage space is provided by two 512GB Intel® NVMe SSDs. The Mustang-200 also features a particularly high-performance graphics engine (Intel® IrisTM Plus 650). Transcoding and playback of videos in different resolutions is possible with the integrated H. 264, H. 265 / HEVC hardware decoder and encoder. The Mustang-200 is supplied with power via a 12V PCIe 6-pin plug and can be used at a temperature of 0°~+40°C. ICP Deutschland delivers the Mustang-200 as a Ready-to-Use system and provides technical support.
