Coiled into a slightly elliptical shape, Rotor Clip’s UMI, UHO and USH rings compensate for the plastic deformation that occurs during installation. Once installed, they “kick-in” and assume a more traditional circular shape. Their circular shape allows the parts to clear the bore much more easily due to roundness. It also supports higher load capacity due to increased groove contact and offers maximum clearance for assembled part to pass through the installed part. The “Kick” to the parts is most exaggerated at the gap of the part when it is installed. This allows for easier removal using standard installation tools.
