Contactor-less Inverter

Gefran enhances its new ADL300 lift drive family introducing the contactor-less operation of the elevator motors. One complete and advanced solution in control technology for each type of lift system (from 4kW up to 75kW). External noisy contactors are replaced by electronic switching elements inside the drive, bringing an indisputable advantage to roomless installations and contributing to improve the quality of life in the buildings. This new solution allows to reduce commissioning costs, giving a competitive advantage to elevator companies, as well as bringing benefits to the final users curbing acoustic noise. The device meets the most severe safety requirements described in the normative EN81-1:1998 + A3 and it received the SIL3 certification (EN61800-5-2-2007).
