The combination of an ARM processor with a separate graphics controller results in fast data processing of the new control and operator panel MCQ6 from Graf-Syteco. Due to the high performance also complex automation programs and visualisations are possible. The device has a short boot-up time, which is usually less than six seconds with an average project size. This is of high importance especially in mobile applications, for example in farming or construction machines, where the machine is shut-down completely when not in use. Therefore the panel has to boot-up during the start-up of the machine. Especially for these kind of applications, where components have to tolerate rough conditions, the product fulfils industrial protection class IP65.
