Sigmatek's PC 400 has a 2.7 GHz Intel Celeron dual-core processor. The control cabinet PC, in compact book format, is equipped with HMI-Link. In addition to standard operating units, remote panel solutions up to a distance of 100 m are possible. Additional features include 4 GB RAM (DDR3 RAM) and a solid state disk.
The PC is designed for 24/7 continuous operation at full CPU load and supports all common operating systems. With the integrated Intel-Haswell graphic chip, the PC especially scores with complex operating and visualization applications.
In addition to the HMI-Link, the PC 400 has numerous interfaces: 2x Gigabit Ethernet, 6x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, 2x PS/2 for keyboard or mouse and 1 interface each for RS232, audio, DVI and display port. The control cabinet PC, with dimensions of 80 x 224 x 193 mm (W x H x D), is not only compact but also has a design that is service-friendly. All connection and slots are located on the front.
The HMI Link technology makes it possible to transmit USB, video and audio signals between the PC in the control cabinet and operating unit (full HD) completely loss-free using only a standard Cat5e cable, and that up to a distance of 100 m. The user therefore has a great deal of freedom for the machine design. The wiring is also reduced.
