An ultra-modern controller platform has been devloped by E.D.&A. for one of the world leaders active in the development and production of industrial washing machines, dryers and ironers. It is based on a high-performance ARM microcontroller and uses an RTOS (Real Time Operating System). For the user interface there is the choice between a 5.7 or 3.5“ TFT or a 240x128 pixel LCD. The controller platform can easily be extended to include WiFi and other communication technologies. It includes 18 digital inputs, 22 relay outputs, 3 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, and 1 analog pressure measurement. Communication options are RS-232, RS-485, USB and I2C.
