Drive chains are getting smaller, which also requires smaller components in the drive train. For high torsional stiffness and large misalignment, metal bellows couplings are available from ENEMAC.
Backlash-free transmission
For the low-cost miniature metal bellows coupling EWKA a special adhesive is used to connect bellows and hubs. This bonding process allows applications in the temperature range from 253 K to 363 K (-20°C to + 90°C). The coupling is available in six sizes between 0.4 and 8 Nm. It is possible to hold shafts with diameters of up to 26 mm. The miniature metal bellows coupling is fixed force-fitting on the shaft ends via offset threaded pins and thus ensures a backlash-free and low-vibration torque transmission. The main application area for the EWKA is the control and regulation technology.
