Seneca has completed a key line of compact devices with high data acquisition capacity, recording and remote data transmission through Ethernet, GPRS or 3G. They are smart devices with integrated I/O's, RS485 interface or Ethernet interface. The system can be realized including Seneca Z-PC devices with RS485 interface or from other manufacturers with Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP / IP. Data storage is performed on removable SD card and all the devices allow both large data recording (sampling time programmable) and alarms management. Z-GPRS2 is the most important device that provides important additional features and make it a real RTU suitable for sending bi-directional information between the user and the field.
