Access to process data has never been more in demand, even from mission-critical systems. Yet providing that data must not jeopardize the plant in any way. To strictly ensure one-way data flow, use a data diode. And to maximize flexibility, use Cogent DataHub™ Tunnel/Mirroring in data diode mode.

Two options – hardware or software

DataHub data diode mode provides two options: hardware support and software emulation. Hardware support works with virtually any data diode blocking all incoming TCP packets. Software emulation provides data diode functionality without the bother or expense of hardware.

Either way, you can send your data from multiple industrial data protocols like OPC, MQTT, ODBC, and more in a unified namespace, and collect it using those same protocols. Pass real-time or historical data via proxy servers and DMZs, if required. There’s no need for VPNs, and it works with or without firewalls.
