With the latest models in its TR-7wf series, T&D Corporation introduces new devices that automatically upload recorded data to T&D's free of charge WebStorage Service, which provides a storage capacity of up to 20 MB. Access to logged data is possible at anytime from anywhere via PC, tablet or via smart phone by the ThermoWeb app, available for iOS and Android. The TR-7wf data loggers measure and record temperature as well as humidity in public and industrial surroundings. The TR-71wf enables wide range measurement of temperature from - 40°C to 110°C with accuracy of +/- 0.3°C. The TR-72wf on the other hand measures temperatures from 0°C to 55°C with accuracy of +/- 0.5°C, and humidity from 10 to 95 per cent relative humidity (RH) with accuracy of +/- 5 per cent. For customers who require a wider range of coverage, the TR-72wf-H model measures temperatures from - 30°C to 80°C and humidity from 0 to 99 per cent RH with accuracy of +/- 2.5 per cent.
Each model features a USB connection for setup and data download onto a computer, and each is powered by two batteries - either AA Alkaline or AA Ni-MH. With wireless LAN communication, the battery life is approximately one year when the auto-upload interval is one hour. Without wireless LAN communication, the batteries will last for around a year and a half. If any disturbance should occur when the data loggers are in use, warning notifications can be sent via e-mail over the network. Furthermore the ThermoWeb app also receives visual and acoustic warning signals. If no access point is available, direct communication with installed ThermoWeb App mobile devices is possible.
