“The Pulser” is a new P08 1/8 brick from Glary Power Technology Ltd and added by Ideal Power. It is a DC/DC converter that delivers 12V/25A engineered with “Buck-Reset Forward” topology and proprietary “Partial-Resonant-Synchronous-Rectifer” rectification stage switching at 450kHZ frequency. This offers a power of 300 watts and achieves 94% conversion efficiency.
Shorten the delay of the current loop and avoids short circuit current
Designed to take pulsed loads applications in tough environments, the P08 can effectively limit the output current to 1/3rd to eliminate the short circuit current and to reduce the delay of the current loop (from 350us to 60ns). Moreover, the “Pulser” metal case cavity is vacuum potted by using thermal conductive silicone, which maintains hydrostatic pressure balance for securing the operating across 1mBar~100Bar of pressure range.
