Magtrol presents the new 1WB23 and 1WB27 dynamometers able to test motors up to 100,000 rpm for power dissipation up to 1 kW (short term). The nominal braking torque is 80 mNm for 1WB23 and 150 mNm for 1WB27. A frictionless reaction torque measurement allows high measuring accuracy of +/- 0.5 % full scale. The system integrates torque and speed measurements as well as convection air cooling. It can dissipate 250 watts continuous. Connected to the DSP 7000 controller, it can be used with the LabVIEW™ based testing software M-TEST7 offering easy configuration and data acquisition.
Fixture, protection cover and high speed couplings can be delivered as options, making a complete turnkey system. Next to these 1WB23 and 1WB27 models, Magtrol is marketing the MEGA SPEED dynamometer (MSD) dedicated to dental and surgical tools testing up to 300,000 rpm, in a torque range of 5 to 50mNm. The new systems complete a range of performing solutions for high speed applications.
