Featuring an anodised aluminium shaft tube and an aluminium casing, the CMLA electro-mechanical linear actuator from Pfaff-silberblau is specifically aimed at industrial use with great demands regarding availability, ease of maintenance, high operating speeds at nominal load and safety. The thrust tube is chrome plated and the mountings are made from robust high-grade steel. None of the power-transmitting components are made from plastic. The standard trapezoidal screw can be replaced with a circulating ball screw. The maximum lift of each drive is fixed with inner mechanical limit switches corresponding to each size. Alternatively, external, adjustable magnetic limit switches can be used, which are fixed inside a groove on the shaft tube. Thanks to their user-friendly plug and play functionality, the drives can be quickly and easily started up. All electrical components such as motor, brakes and limit switch are completely pre-wired and the drives feature a connector cable between 2-4m in length that make them easy to install. The drive is available in four sizes for loads between 500 and 1,300 kg with three different transmissions each for slow, medium and fast lifting speeds. Four different standard lift lengths are available for each size: P50 and P70 with 150, 300, 450 and 600 mm lift as well as P90 and P125 with 250, 500, 750 und 1,000 mm lift. A3-phase AC and optional 24V DC motor are available for P50 and P70; P90 and P125 come exclusively with 3-phase AC motors. Each motor can be optionally fitted with a brake. The drive can be operated in temperatures ranging from 0 to + 60°C and has safety class IP65 for both motor and brake.
