Electronic Motor

The DRC electronic motor complements the range of mechatronic drive systems from SEW-Eurodrive. Gear units from the comprehensive modular concept of SEW can be directly mounted, which makes the DRC motor highly flexible. It is suitable for universal, worldwide use, with its efficiency surpassing the highest efficiency class IE4. The electronic motor consists of a permanent-field synchronous motor and the matching drive electronics. The motor is also available as brakemotor. It is suitable for use in hoists and inclining tracks. A highly efficient bevel, helical, or parallel-shaft gear unit can be mounted directly via the flange and output shaft. The high overall efficiency of all components makes it possible to save up to 50% of the energy costs for electric drive technology. The electronic motor covers a wide voltage range from 380 to 500 V at 50/60 Hz and meets all applicable standards, directives and efficiency regulations.
