Deutschmann Automation announces the availability from stock of the UNIGATE IC2 embedded solution to serve customers demand ahead of schedule. The powerful all-in-one bus nodes of the UNIGATE IC2 series provide a comprehensive family of various Industrial Ethernet and Fieldbus communications modules. The pre-certified embedded communication interface from Deutschmann Automation can be easily and directly integrated into an industrial terminal device or sensor system without changing the firmware. As an alternative to customer’s own developed interfaces, the UNIGATE IC2 embedded series optimizes significantly developments costs and time-to-market of the final product.
Flexible script language
The powerful UNIGATE IC2 embedded series is based on the ARM Cortex-M4 processor technology enabling a fast communication to the application side via SPI or UART. The 45 x 25 mm compact board integrates the microcontroller, Flash memory, RAM, optocoupler and bus driver. Protocol connection between the UNIGATE IC2 and the terminal device is implemented via Deutschmann’s proprietary script language ensuring high flexibility and complexity. For generation of the script, Deutschmann Automation provides the free Protocol Developer Tool. All Deutschmann UNIGATE data communication products are developed and manufactured in Germany.
