Rittal presents VX25, its large enclosure system that is going through a redevelopment to be implemented into smart high-tech production facilities able to plan for themselves and to use artificial intelligence to optimize maintenance. The total investment for this model Industry 4.0 project is 120 million euros. Everything is designed to achieve this kind of efficiency boost. Working with fewer mounting parts is an important advantage that straight away simplifies storage issues. VX25 also simplifies assembly in many different ways, which helps save time. The enclosure doors, for instance, can be removed with ease, with the new system eliminating the need to lever out the hinge pins.
Housing tightly packed control and switchgear systems
The current situation brings the transformation into particularly sharp relief, as two large enclosure systems are being manufactured practically side by side. It is much easier to use and delivers huge time savings. The robust VX25 securely houses tightly packed control and switchgear systems for controlling car production, for example, or heavy-weight energy storage systems in wind turbines. Basic version’s components for the realization of an electrical or control panel are cabinet frame with one or two front doors, rear wall, mounting plate, roof, bottom plates in several parts. The Electronic version is ideal for 19 and “sub rack 19" components: with 19 front profiles, front frame, rear roof door and multi-piece roof sheets.
