In close collaboration with the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, iEXERGY showcases its intelligent and energetically autonomous actuator on their joint stand D30 in Hall 002. The actuator is especially characterised by its wire- and battery-less operation. The needed electrical power supply is "harvested" via a thermoelectric generator directly from the surrounding environment and the associated process. Communication is based on a very efficient low power radio (EnOcean) which allows flexible positioning of the device. In combination with patented regulating methods, the actuator offers a lot of interesting new ways to increase energy efficiency, especially in the building sector.
