EtherCAT: First Official Chinese Conformance Certificate

About six months after the opening of the EtherCAT Test Center (ETC) in China, the EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) has now issued the first official Chinese conformance certificate to Tsino-Dynatron Electrical Technology. Chinese companies recognize the value of an independent certification and increasingly demand for an official device test in the accredited ETC.
After the ETG opened the first accredited EtherCAT Test Center (ETC) in China last February, work in the Beijing test lab is now in full swing. At the Laboratory of Numerical Control and Automation (LNC) at Beihang University, the ETC team supervisor Dr. Yanqiang Liu officially tests EtherCAT products from Chinese manufacturers - also by using ETG's EtherCAT Conformance Test Tool - for conformance. Some time ago the first EtherCAT device tested by the ETC, a servo drive from Tsino-Dynatron Electrical Technology, successfully passed the conformance test in the test lab. This test in the test center is voluntary for the companies and, in case of success, the products are officially certified. The in-house test with the Conformance Test Tool, on the other hand, is mandatory for all manufacturers of EtherCAT devices, but doesn't lead to a certificate.
