The Simatic RF182C module from Siemens is a communication module for the connection of RFI read/write devices to Ethernet. This communication module is designed to be used in machine building, conveyor systems, assembly lines in the automotive and supplier industries as well as in ancillary assembly lines. The high IP67 degree of protection facilitates distributed installation outside the control cabinet directly in the plant process and rapid commissioning is possible with the plug-in connection technology. This communication module can be easily integrated in a PC.
