Atos ex-proof solenoids are designed together with the related hydraulic valves to maximize functionality and flexibility. Thanks to the generous size of the magnet power heart they ensure best force/stroke performances with only 8 or 12 watt power supply. They are designed to contain the potential explosion inside the enclosure, to limit their external surface temperature and to avoid the self ignition of the explosive mixture in the environment. Ex-proof valves are type-tested and certified to ATEX or UL norms. This makes them suitable for usage in oil & gas, mining, chemical and energy industries and in potential explosive environments with presence of flammable gas or dust.
