Moxa released the DA-710, an x86-based fanless rackmount embedded computer with modular flexibility for power substations. This rackmount computer supports USB, VGA, and CompactFlash and is equipped with four Ethernet ports and two RS-232 serial ports. Designed for power substations, it offers a wide range of applications for multitasking in a single power substation central management system. It features a high performance Intel processor and comes with four PCI slots for inserting assorted expansion modules. The DA-710 offers 100/240 VAC/VDC dual power inputs and supports redundant applications to ensure continuous operation. It runs pre-installed Linux, WinCE 6.0, or Windows XP Embedded to provide a friendly environment for developing sophisticated application software.
