The PXIe-3987 controller from Adlink is now available from Acceed. It is a high-performance embedded controller that is equipped with the Intel i7-7820EQ 3.0 GHz quad core processor and has up to 32GB DDR4 working memory with 2400 MHz. Suitable for demanding tasks in multitasking environments with several simultaneous and independent measurement or testing tasks, it fits the use in hybrid PXIe-based test systems. It utilizes the i7-7820EQ processor with Kaby Lake architecture, that is optimized for energy efficiency and performance and can be booted at a TDP of 45 W with turbo boost up to 3.7 GHz.
Suitable for installation in various Adlink chassis
The data throughput can reach up to 16 GB/s if the system is configured accordingly. The PXIe-3987 features two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, two GbE ports (one for LAN and the other for controlling LXI measurement instruments), two display port sockets and an integrated GPIB (General Purpose Interface Bus) controller to ensure the flexibility. It also includes trigger I/Os for sophisticated PXI trigger functions and a programmable RS-232/422/485 interface. Its double BIOS backup fits the high availability required for reliable test systems.
