In October 2010 Faulhaber opened its first branch in Taicang, enabling direct and better provision of products and services to customers in China, and opening up new Asian markets for drive systems. The office, conference and storage premises of the new Faulhaber branch for sales and technical services are situated on the fifth floor of a modern office building and cover an area of around 310 square meters. The opening of the new location was marked by a celebratory ceremony attended by representatives of local authorities, the trade and industry minister for the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, Ernst Pfister, accompanied by a delegation from Germany, and customers and partners of the Faulhaber Group.
