igus offers 950 different types of flex-resistant cables for dynamic energy chain applications. The new chainflex CF5 control cables and the CF6 shielded cable form a new standard with 600 Volt rating according to UL. These cables offer a double voltage rating in comparison with their predecessors, offering numerous advantages for connection to motors. An outer PVC jacket makes these cables highly bend-resistant and oil-proof. They are bundled in very short pitch lengths around a highly tensile-resistant core rope, of which the stranding has been optimized for dynamic use in energy chains. The CF5 non-shielded version has a gusset-filled extruded outer jacket and the CF6 shielded cable version has a gusset-filled extruded inner jacket.EMC protection is guaranteed.
