The power bus system podis® from wieland is ideal for the decentralized power distribution in machines and systems with large dimensions. Now, the system has been expanded by a new variant. Thus, significantly larger loads than before can be supplied on a flat cable section. The flat cable power bus podis® is suitable for technical conveyor systems on airports or in warehouses for example as well as in production facilities such as the automotive industry.
The connection components suit for both stronger currents and the application in larger voltages. With the same load, the voltage drop in installations with especially large cable lengths is reduced.
podis® especially convinces with the fast and safe installation thanks to insulation-penetrating contact without stripping the cable. This provides highest possible flexibility during the initial installation as well as during retrofitting. The modular podis® system includes feeder and distributor modules, service switches, fixed and plug-in power branches, pre-assembled cable sets as well as extensive accessories.
With the simulation software podis® PLAN, project-specific calculations can be made easily and graphically or tabularly which increase the predictability for the project duration and the project budget.
