The flow sensors SS 20.400 from Schmidt Technology detect the smallest air flows and ensure a bidirectional recognition, making them suitable for use in cleanrooms. These differential pressure sensors improve the functional safety of cleanrooms and reduce the energy costs by 50%. They can be installed in a wall opening of approximately 50 mm diameter and measure the air flowing out of the cleanroom due to overpressure. Their measuring ranges start at flow velocity of 0.05 m/s. Thanks to their thermopile sensor which uses the principle of thermal anemometry, these sensors measure the air flows bidirectional, including reverse air flows.
