    Frequency Inverter

Narrowing the gap between frequency and servo inverters Lenze extended its range of 8400 inverters by the introduction of TopLine. Permanently excited motors can be operated in power ranges from 0.55 to 2.2kW at 230V and 0.37 to 45kW at 400V. The inverters are supplied with a corresponding control system and are equipped with interfaces for incremental and absolute encoders (single and multiturn). Alongside HTL encoders, resolvers and optionally TTL, SinCos and SSI encoders can also be considered. The inverters find applications in what has previously been the sole domain of servo drives. These include position duties with strict requirements of dynamics and precision such as those typically found in hoists, fork drives, storage, and retrieval units or simple pick-and-place applications. The precisely tailored drive system is rounded off by ready-to-use system cables, motors, gearboxes, feedback, and brakes. From an energy perspective the drives in the series feature VFC eco mode, which intelligently adapts the magnetizing current to actual load requirements, thusly reducing losses and saving electrical energy.
