    From Production Automation to Professional Service Robotics

The sixth AUTOMATICA is going to start in a few days. The trade fair is going to attract visitors from manufacturing companies from all industries with 720 exhibitors from 42 countries from June 3 to 6. Under the motto "Optimize Your Production", AUTOMATICA is going to show all relevant topics dealing with production optimization in five trade fair halls. Automation solutions for competitive production, energy efficiency, lightweight construction, professional service robotics and Industry 4.0 are among the main topics.

AUTOMATICA Forum in Hall B5
In the middle of the trade fair happenings in Hall B5, experts from industry and research are going to talk about sustainability ranging from production and lightweight construction to professional service robotics and all the way to the topic of smart factory (Industry 4.0). The four-day, free series of talks is being organized in collaboration with Konradin Publishing Company. Professional service robotics
With the new exhibition area Professional Service Robotics, AUTOMATICA is enhancing its research offer with saleable finished products and components with a business-to-business relation. Hall A4 will be the center of technological innovations.

The visit of the EU Commissioner Neelie Kroes is also eagerly anticipated. In her opening speech and the subsequent press conference, she is going to present the world's largest robotics funding program (public-private partnership). The official trade fair opening will take place at the AUTOMATICA Forum in Hall B5 at 9:30 on June 3.

Service Robotics Demonstration Area in Hall A4
Service robotics exhibits will be presented on the hour between 10 and 15:00 daily. Interviews with experts and live demonstrations will be shown on a large screen at the same time.

Smart Factory Special Show / Industry 4.0 in Hall A5.538
The mode of operation and the specific consequences of Industry 4.0 on production are the focus of the Smart Factory special show area in Hall A5.
