Effective as of February 1, 2011, Dipl.-Ing. Claus Kleedörfer will join the management team of sales company Harting Deutschland GmbH & Co. As General Manager, the former Head of Industrial Communication & Power Networks (ICPN) at Harting Technology Group will be responsible for the further expansion of the Automation IT business area, where the drive for future growth will focus more squarely on sales.
As part of the Harting Connectivity & Networks triad of Installation Technology, Device Connectivity and Automation IT, this area produces and sells Ethernet network components and cables that comprise the communication platform of a convergent Automation IT network. It is also fielding fully integrated RFID solutions.
