The G2RCU remote control unit uses GPRS/GSM for data transfer and is designed into a slim DIN-rail mount enclosure. It is easy to install, setup and customise its functions. Available in 2-band and 4-band versions, it can read 2 digital inputs, control 2 relay outputs and has one UART communication for PC connection & parametrisation and one RS485/RS232/UART/CAN galvanically isolated interface for connection with local systems. Delivered with a whip antenna it has an optional antenna on a 5m cable for use in low signal areas. With several communication possibilities G2RCU can be connected to various devices and send status and alarm messages in the form of e-mails and SMS messages. The integrated powerful ARM9 computing platform allows to design-in extensive embedded software for local data elaboration.
